SKS3 mold steel and high toughness, high hardness, air-cooled high-chromium tool steel hardened, the hardness of steel than the SKD and toughness.
 
SKS3 mold steel features and uses:
 
● pure vacuum refining of steel;
 
● ball softening annealing organization easy cutting;
 
● high quenching hardness;
 
Tempered with good dimensional stability.
 
Widely used to make the thickness of not more than 8mm of stamping die, stamping die, bending die, finishing mode;
 
● are also widely used to make the gauge, measuring tools, woodworking tools and lathes thimble, etc.;
 
● is also widely used guide bushing system, thimble, die, wire needles.
 
SKS3 die steel heat treatment specifications:
 
Quenching: first preheated to 550 ℃ ~ 650 ℃, and then heated to 800 ~ 850 ℃ in oil hardened.
 
Tempering: heating to 150 ℃ ~ 200 ℃, to stay at this temperature and then cooled in still air quenching.
 
Hardness: HRC60 ℃ above
 
Annealing: Heat to 750 ~ 800 ℃, the temperature in this stay one to three hours in the furnace allowed to cool gradually.
