Performance and application:
Eutectoid steel, due to high carbon content, there is still a large surplus after quenching carbide, so resistance and wear resistance are high, but low toughness, hardenability is poor, and the quenching deformation. So, not suitable for manufacturing high cutting speed and tool under shock loading.
Uses:
Used to make from shock loading, cutting notices and cutting edge tools without heat.
